Green Harissa Pesto Pasta

Made with Chilzo’s Green Harissa, a treat for inter-continental food lovers

Serves: 3

Cooking time: 10 mins

 

Ingredients:

  • 200 gms spaghetti, or any other pasta of your choice
  • 4 cloves of garlic, peeled & chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Harissa paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup olives, sliced
  • ½ cup Red Bell peppers
  • ½ cup Yellow Bell peppers

Instructions:

  1. Bring a big pot of water to a boil.
  2. Add 1 tbsp. of salt to the boiling water.
  3. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions.
  4. Drain the pasta and save 1 cup of pasta water.
  5. Heat 2 tbsps. of oil in a skillet.
  6. Add in chopped garlic and sauté till it turns golden brown
  7. Now, add spaghetti and black olives and the saved pasta water.
  8. On a different skillet, stir-fry the bell peppers
  9. Stir it over the heat for a minute or so, then turn everything out onto a platter and serve.
