By the Hakka People, For the World!

The essence of Hakka noodles is a culinary tapestry woven by the Hakka people, a resilient ethnic group with roots in southern China. Hakka noodles have their origins in the Hakka Chinese community. The word "Hakka" itself means guest families, and this group has a rich culinary heritage. It's a story of migration and adaptation. Over centuries, they traversed mountains and valleys, carving out new homes in challenging terrain. Their ingenuity shone through in their cooking, where simple ingredients were transformed into flavorful feasts. Hakka noodles became a symbol of their resourcefulness, a dish that could be stretched to feed families, adapt to local flavours, and deliver comfort in times of hardship.

What are Hakka Noodles?

Hakka noodles are a stir-fried noodle dish made with thin, wheat noodles, vegetables, and a savoury sauce. They're a popular street food and comfort food in many parts of Asia, especially in India, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
